Teressa Nakamoto

Teressa Nakamoto is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and organizational development across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at City of Hope since August 2022, Teressa previously held the position of Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives & Campaign at CHOC Children's, where key contributions included managing a multi-million-dollar fundraising campaign and enhancing operational efficiency. With a background in strategic partnerships and corporate engagement at organizations such as Reality Changers and Year Up, Teressa excelled in business development and curriculum development aimed at empowering underrepresented students. Earlier roles at Korn Ferry and the Panetta Institute involved international project management and legislative research. Teressa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from San Diego State University and has furthered education at Cornell University and Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici.
