James Richardson

Environmental Protection Board Program Administrator at City of Jacksonville

James Richardson is an experienced professional with a longstanding career in public service and nonprofit management. Since July 2003, James has served as the Environmental Protection Board Program Administrator for the City of Jacksonville, overseeing the administration of a nine-member board focused on environmental regulations. Previous roles within the city include managing the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, which allocates federal grant funds for rehabilitating abandoned properties, and directing the Northwest Jacksonville Economic Development Fund. James also has a background in community engagement as a Neighborhood Coordinator. In the nonprofit sector, James held leadership positions as Chairman of the Board for the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council and as Campaign Division Manager for United Way of Northeast Florida, where fundraising efforts were spearheaded. James's educational background includes studies at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University from 1981 to 1983.
