Kelsey Gembala is an experienced Police Officer currently serving with the City of Lawrence, Indiana, since February 2023, and with the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township since November 2021. Previously, Kelsey worked as a Police Officer for the City of Beech Grove from February 2020 to February 2023. Additional roles include Client Advocate at the Beacon of Hope Crisis Center in early 2020, Public Safety Telecommunicator for Hamilton County in mid-2019, and Animal Control Officer for the City of Indianapolis from January to June 2019. Kelsey also held the position of Executive Team Lead Asset Protection at Target from April to December 2018 and worked as a Police Officer for the City of Rockford, Illinois, from September 2013 to April 2018. Academically, Kelsey is pursuing a Doctor of Human Services degree with a focus on Leadership and Organizational Management at Capella University and holds a Master of Public Administration from Indiana University Bloomington, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. Kelsey graduated from Hanover Central High School in 2009.
