Dr Deborah Bell

Dr. Deborah Bell is a highly experienced educational leader currently serving as the Strategic Director for the City of London Corporation since January 2023. Previously, Dr. Bell held the position of Head of Service at Oxfordshire County Council from September 2018 to December 2022, overseeing areas such as school attendance, children missing education, and alternative provision commissioning. Dr. Bell spent notable years at the London Borough of Hillingdon as the Local Government Education Service Manager, focusing on troubled families, exclusions, and special educational needs. Dr. Bell holds a Doctor of Education degree from Brunel University London, as well as a Master of Education and Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Education from the University of London, alongside formative education at St Benedicts Ealing and St Augustines Priory.
