Briza Miranda-Morales

Briza Miranda-Morales is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in both public and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Risk Manager for The City of Manhattan Beach since March 2019, Briza has previously held key positions including President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Public Agency Safety Management Association (PASMA). Previous roles also include Risk Manager for the City of Newport Beach and Risk Management Supervisor for the City of Santa Ana, where responsibilities encompassed managing liability claims programs and representing the city in various legal settings. Briza's educational background includes a Bachelor of Public Administration from National University, two Associate degrees from Santa Ana College, and an Associate in Risk Management from the Insurance Educational Association.
