Scott Richter

Scott Richter serves as the Business & Innovation Manager at the City of Medicine Hat, a position held since April 2016, and has previously held roles such as Parks Manager and Superintendent of Park Operations. Richter's responsibilities include enhancing outdoor recreational opportunities along the South Saskatchewan River, managing park operations, overseeing eco-tourism initiatives, and coordinating with various community partners for park and recreation services. Prior to this, Richter was the Chief Executive Officer at the YMCA of Medicine Hat from 2003 to 2016, where leadership spanned multiple facets of youth engagement and community service. Education includes a Master of Science in Values in Youth Sport and a Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration, both from the University of Regina.
