Gustave Stewart

Gustave Stewart is an experienced transportation planner with a strong background in urban and regional planning, bolstered by a Master's degree from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Iowa. Currently serving as an Associate Transportation Planner for the City of Minneapolis since May 2023, Gustave previously held roles such as Multimodal Planning Intern at Ramsey County and Graduate Research Assistant at the Humphrey School. Prior experience includes serving as a Budget Analyst I at the Illinois Governor's Office of Management & Budget, where Gustave managed multiple state agency budgets, and as a Planner Intern at the Corridor Metropolitan Planning Organization, focusing on transportation projects in Cedar Rapids. Additionally, Gustave contributed to student governance at the University of Iowa and worked on sustainable transportation initiatives within the Office of Sustainability.
