Maria Paula Cano

Maria Paula Cano is an experienced cultural event manager and artistic director, currently serving as the Assistante aux événements culturels at Ville de Montréal since May 2022. Maria has held significant roles including Directrice artistique for Latin Awards Canada and Directrice générale for Ballet Raíces de Colombia, where responsibilities included tour management and executive production for various cultural events. With a solid educational background comprising a specialized diploma in cultural organization management from HEC Montréal and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance from Concordia University, Maria has cultivated a diverse skill set in event coordination, artist support, and community engagement through various positions in festival management, teaching, and project management since 2011.
