Robin Bechtel

Robin Bechtel is an experienced urban planner with a robust background in planning and development. Currently serving as the Director of Planning and Development for the City of Peachtree City since January 2017, responsibilities include development reviews, zoning interpretation, and project management for significant planning contracts such as the Peachtree City Center Redevelopment Plan. Prior to this role, Robin was the Principal at Cailloux Planning, LLC, providing various planning services, and held planning positions at EDAW | AECOM, the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority, and Columbia County. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Art History with a focus on American Architecture from The University of Georgia.
