Donna Carney

Donna Carney is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in architecture, planning, and organizational development. Currently serving as the Director of the Citizens Planning Institute at the Philadelphia Planning Commission since May 2010, Donna focuses on empowering citizens and neighborhood organizations to enhance their communities. As the founder of Carney & Company, Donna is dedicated to improving organizational health through collaborative engagement. Previous roles include project management at Wallace Roberts & Todd, as an architectural consultant, and a project architect with a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects. Educational credentials include an MA in Organization Management & Development from Fielding Graduate University, an MArch from New Jersey Institute of Technology, an MS in Historic Preservation from Columbia University, and a BA in Interior Design from Iowa State University.
