Chris Ewell

Assistant Public Works Director: Facilities Management at City of Phoenix

Chris Ewell has extensive experience in public works and urban management, currently serving as the Assistant Public Works Director for Facilities Management and previously as the Deputy Street Transportation Director for the City of Phoenix since October 2000. In these roles, Chris leads a team of over 120 employees in the Design and Construction Management Division, overseeing various projects and citywide utility coordination. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineering Supervisor, managing the Vertical Project Management Team, and working as a Landscape Architect and Recreation Planner at Arizona State Parks. Chris holds a Master of Public Administration with an Urban Management concentration and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Arizona State University.
