Matt Gander is a legal professional with extensive experience in government and private law practices. Currently serving as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Portland, Matt has previously held positions as Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia and Associate at Crowell & Moring LLP. Additionally, Matt contributed to the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia as a Loaned Attorney in the Housing Unit and served as a Law Clerk for the ACLU's National Prison Project. Matt earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from the University of Oregon.
