Nathan Janders

Nathan Janders, PE, is a seasoned civil engineer currently working as a Civil Engineer III in the Development Engineering team for the City of Renton since June 2019. Nathan is responsible for reviewing civil infrastructure for a wide range of projects, including residential, plat, and commercial developments, and serves as the franchise coordinator overseeing utility and telecom franchises. Prior to this role, Nathan worked at University Mechanical Contractors, Inc. from January 2013 to May 2019, where experience included roles as a Project Manager overseeing industrial mechanical projects and as a Project Engineer focusing on submittal development and field support. Early career experience includes internships at UMC and Crane Electronics, as well as participation in a mentor program at Boeing. Nathan holds a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University, earned in 2012.
