Joe Anderson

Joe Anderson, P.E. is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as an Associate Engineer for the City of Roseville since September 2021, where contributions focus on regulating development in floodplain areas and maintaining flood risk reduction facilities, helping the city achieve a Class 1 rating in FEMA's Community Rating System. Prior to this role, Joe worked at MacKay & Somps from August 2013 to September 2021 on various aspects of land development engineering for private developers in the Sacramento area. Joe also gained valuable experience as a Transportation Engineer at Fehr & Peers from December 2008 to August 2013, specializing in traffic signal and lighting design for local agencies and Caltrans. Early career experiences include an internship at MacKay & Somps and a position as a Student Helper at Benchmark Engineering, Inc. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University-Sacramento, obtained in 2008.
