Andrea Arjona is an experienced professional in urban planning and transportation policy, currently serving as the E-Mobility Program Lead for the City of San José since January 2019. In this role, Andrea advances the City's electric vehicle infrastructure strategy and supports various e-mobility projects. Previous positions include Transportation Policy & Legislative Lead, where responsibilities encompassed state and federal transportation policy initiatives, and Shared Micro-Mobility Manager, overseeing the e-scooter permit program and optimizing shared-mobility regulations. Andrea's earlier career includes roles such as Managing Director at Earth Systems Engineering, Founder of Contelac Sostenible, and various consultancy positions. Andrea holds a Master of Urban Planning from San Jose State University, an M.A. in Applied Anthropology, and a B.A. in Anthropology with a focus on Environmental Policy and Economics from Universidad de Los Andes.
