Angel Rios, Jr. has over three decades of experience in public management, with extensive service at the City of San José since May 2000. Positions held include Deputy City Manager, Director of Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services, Assistant Director of Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services, Deputy Director of Recreation & Community Services, and Recreation Superintendent. Prior to joining the City of San José, Angel Rios, Jr. served as Associate Director at the Mexican American Community Services Agency, Inc. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from San Jose State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Phoenix.
