Raania Mohsen

Raania Mohsen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and community engagement. Currently serving as the Disability Affairs Officer in the City Manager's Office of the City of San José, Raania focuses on promoting disability equity, inclusion, and accessibility through collaboration with various stakeholders. Previous roles include Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of Vice Mayor Chappie Jones, where Raania led initiatives on critical issues such as transportation and affordable housing, and Senior Council Assistant in the same office. Raania also worked as a Community & Civic Engagement Manager for ING, a Management Analyst for the City of Santa Clara, and the Executive Director of the Cities Association of Santa Clara County, advocating for the interests of local cities. Raania holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
