Thomas Cole

Thomas Cole is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic development, community development, and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Santa Clarita since December 2012, Thomas oversees the Arts and Events, Economic Development, and Transit divisions. Previously, as the Director of Community Development, responsibilities included managing a 40-member team and providing key guidance on citywide issues. With prior roles such as Chief Operations Officer for the William S. Hart Union High School District and Vice President of Development at Highland Development Company, Thomas has demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects and operations across various sectors. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate of Arts from Orange Coast College.
