Christopher Swanson

Christopher Swanson currently serves as the Assistant City Administrator for the City of Savage, a role held since April 2024. Prior to this position, Christopher worked as a Management Analyst for the City of Richfield from September 2021 to April 2024, and as the Solid Waste Programs Supervisor for the City of Saint Paul from December 2018 to October 2021. Christopher's extensive experience in local government also includes positions as an Environmental/City Code Specialist and Environmental Technician/Code Enforcement for the City of Maplewood, along with a Sustainability Internship. Earlier career roles included serving as Head Cashier at Menards and as a Guitar Teacher at Chris Swanson Inc. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Minnesota and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Hamline University.
