Paul Bucich

Paul Bucich is an experienced public works professional with a comprehensive background in engineering and management. Currently serving as the Public Works Director for the City of Sequim, WA since May 2024, Paul previously held the position of Public Works Engineering Director for the City of Lakewood from April 2018 to May 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing transportation, surface water, and sanitary sewer design and construction management. Earlier experience includes roles in the City of Bellevue, Washington, where Paul advanced from Storm and Surface Water Technical and Policy Advisor to Assistant Director of Engineering, managing various water and utility projects. Prior to that, Paul worked at SAIC and Parametrix, focusing on water resources management, and began a career in surface water management with the City of Federal Way. Paul Bucich holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialty in hydraulics/hydraulogy from Washington State University.
