Sue Knight

Sue Knight began serving on council in 2016. She is currently chairperson of Honored Citizens and serving on the Community Development Board.

Sue Knight moved to Sharonville in 1960 when her Dad took a teaching position with Princeton City Schools and it moved the family closer to their business The Root Beer Stand aka A&W Root Beer Stand. She graduated from Princeton in 1972 then The Ohio State University with a degree in Early Childhood Development. She is married to Bill Knight and has 2 stepdaughters-Angie and Melanie, son Andy, and 5 grandchildren.

In the Sharonville Community, she has been a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout leader, and on the Princeton Aquatic Club board. She is currently coordinating the Hamilton County Special Olympics Swim Meet every year at Princeton High school, member of Sharonville Senior Citizens, and involved with the Sharonville VFW. Sue has been involved with the Sharonville Sharks Swim Team since 1994, serving as President from 1999 to 2008. She is still serving on the Shark Board.
