Alexandra Motyka

Alexandra Motyka is a skilled Geographic Information Systems professional currently serving as the Geographic Information Systems Coordinator for the City of Simi Valley since February 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Configuration Analyst at Aquatic Informatics and Implementation Engineer at Sedaru. Alexandra has a solid foundation in GIS, demonstrated through extensive work as a GIS Analyst at ZWORLD GIS from April 2015 to December 2020, where responsibilities included creating and maintaining GIS data, conducting spatial analysis, and leading GPS field inventory projects for water and sewer assets. Alexandra holds a Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Science & Technology from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and Geographic Information Science from UC Santa Barbara.
