Gary N. Carlson has extensive experience in government relations and municipal issues, serving as a St. Louis Park Charter Commission Member since 2006 and as Lobbyist Emeritus for the League of Minnesota Cities since 1991. Carlson has worked on various municipal issues, including tax, public finance, workers' compensation, pensions, and general governmental concerns, both in a part-time capacity and as Director of Intergovernmental Relations in previous roles. Prior work experience includes positions at Briggs and Morgan, P.A. and as a government relations representative for the City of Minneapolis. Educational background comprises a BA in Political Science and History from Gustavus Adolphus College and further studies at the University of Minnesota.
