Travis Howser

Travis Howser is a seasoned professional in event management and marketing, currently serving as the Special Events Program Executive and Director of Special Events for the City of St. Louis since January 2020. In this role, Travis oversees the planning and direction of city-wide special events and leads the City’s Commission on Special Events. Prior to this position, Travis held the role of Director of Brand Marketing for Jazz St. Louis, focusing on advancing jazz through performance, education, and community engagement. Additionally, experience includes serving as Sr. Manager at 160over90, Director of Events & Theaters at Grand Center Inc., and an Event Manager at Wanderlust Entertainment, where high-profile projects included management of events for prominent figures and partnerships with major brands. Travis earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Illinois State University.
