Jake Parcell, Ph.D., currently serves as City Planner and City Development Manager for the City of Sterling Heights since November 2022, previously holding the position of City Development Manager and Assistant City Planner. As Executive Director of Scenic Michigan since November 2021, Jake also contributed to Wayne County Michigan as Deputy Director of the Wayne County Land Bank from April 2021 to November 2022. Jake's earlier experience includes roles as Community Development Analyst for the City of East Lansing and Planner I for the City of Flint.
