The City of Waco is home to Baylor University, McLennan Community College (MCC) and Texas State Technical College (TSTC). The City boasts the award-winning Cameron Park Zoo and Waco Mammoth National Monument. The City annually hosts the Bicycle World Ironman Waco 70.3 Triathlon and Brazos Nights, an outdoor concert series.

Former HGTV hosts Chip & Joanna Gaines proudly call Waco home and operate two of Waco’s most highly visited sites in the Magnolia Market at the Silos and Magnolia Table. Each year, the Gaines' host Silobration, a multi-day party that includes a midway, artisan vendors, food trucks and music concerts.
