Charles R. Ching

Charles R. Ching possesses extensive experience in municipal management and economic development, currently serving as the Assistant City Manager for the City of San Pablo since June 2014, with prior roles including Interim Assistant City Manager and Community and Economic Development Director. Before joining the City of San Pablo, Charles R. Ching held the position of Senior Economic Development Project Manager for the City of Fairfield from May 2007 to June 2014 and worked as a Business Banking Officer at US Bank from January 2006 to April 2007. Educational achievements include a Certificate in Senior Executives in State and Local Government from Harvard Kennedy School in July 2023, an MBA from Saint Mary's College of California completed in 2009, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Management of Financial Institutions from De La Salle University, obtained in 2000.
