Ron Bowles

Ron Bowles, HBCom, CGA, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of West Kelowna since September 2024. Prior experience includes roles as City Manager for the City of Brandon, MB from April 2021 to September 2024, and General Manager of Community Development for the City of Campbell River from August 2014 to April 2021. Ron Bowles held the position of Director of Finance for the City of Terrace from July 2009 to August 2014, and was the Chief Administrative Officer/CFO for Telkwa/Houston from January 2005 to July 2009. Additionally, Ron Bowles served as the Director of Operations & Administration for the Ktunaxa Nation Council between February 2003 and December 2004. Educational qualifications include an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University obtained between 2015 and 2019, CPA certification through CPA Canada from 2002 to 2015, a degree from the University of Calgary from 1995 to 1999, and studies at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1987.
