Kim Sampson

Kim Sampson, SPHR, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Human Resources for the City of Wilmington, NC, following previous roles including Benefits and Compensation Manager and Sr. HR Analyst. With a diverse background in human resources, Kim has also been an Adjunct Faculty member at the American Public University System since February 2011, teaching various HR courses. Previous experience includes positions such as Classification and Compensation Specialist at MCCS, HR Generalist at Sullivan International Group, and HR Coordinator at Atlantic Marine Corps Communities, among others. Kim holds an MBA in Business Administration from East Carolina University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management with a minor in Accounting from Western Michigan University.
