Stephanie Gilchrist

Stephanie Gilchrist is an accomplished professional with a strong focus on economic development and community empowerment. Currently serving as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Youngstown since September 2023, Stephanie also owns The Dream Activator Consulting, which emphasizes creating generational wealth and empowering minorities through entrepreneurship and financial education. With a diverse background, including roles as Business Advisor and Director of the Women & Youth in Entrepreneurship Program at Youngstown Business Incubator, Stephanie created and oversaw accelerator programs and fostered community partnerships. Previous experience includes serving as Regional Director at the Ohio Department of Development's Minority Business Assistance Center and as Executive Director of Inspiring Minds Youth Youngstown. Stephanie's educational credentials include an EMBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute and a B.B.A. in Marketing from Youngstown State University.
