Yelena Dzhanova

Yelena Dzhanova is an experienced editorial strategist and journalist with a strong background in content development and journalism education. Currently serving as an Editorial Strategist for The City University of New York and a Multiplatform Editor for CNBC, Yelena develops engaging marketing content and collaborates with reporters to refine diverse story ideas. In addition, Yelena is an Adjunct Professor of Journalism at Pace University, guiding students in newsroom practices and journalistic ethics. Previous roles include Multiplatform Editor at The Sun, Reporter and Curator at The Messenger, and Enterprise Reporter at Insider, where Yelena reported on significant social issues. Yelena Dzhanova holds a Master of Arts in Women’s and Gender Studies from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a Bachelor of Arts in English, Political Science, and Journalism from Baruch College.
