James Norris

James Norris is an experienced professional in public and Indigenous engagement with a strong background in economic development and health policy. Currently serving as Lead Public and Indigenous Engagement at LNG Canada since July 2021, James also holds the position of President at Norris and Associates Inc. since November 2020. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer of Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation and Manager, Indigenous Health for the Government of Alberta, where responsibilities included developing Indigenous health policy recommendations. James has extensive experience at organizations such as Pembina Pipeline Corporation and Penn West Exploration, focusing on Aboriginal relations and strategic planning. With a Master's degree in International and Intercultural Communication from Royal Roads University, James is highly skilled in community investment, negotiations, and promoting renewable energy solutions.
