David Sumner

David Sumner is an experienced professional in the field of DevOps and technology management. Currently serving as the Associate Director of DevSecOps at CivicActions, David leads a team dedicated to delivering DevOps services to various US Government clients, including the US Department of Defense and the National Science Foundation. Prior to this role, David worked as a Cloud DevOps Solutions Architect at Oracle, where responsibilities included designing and administering DevOps solutions for Oracle Cloud clients. David's earlier experience includes consulting for the Harris County Department of Education to develop web-based applications, managing the MIS department for Immigration and Refugee Services of America, and various roles in system and network administration. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University.
