Katerina Schoina

Katerina Schoina is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Managing Committee Secretary for the Global Student Council at CIVIS - Europe's Civic University Alliance since November 2022, where responsibilities include acting as the student representative for the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and leading the Social Media Working Group. In addition, Katerina holds the position of Doctoral Scholar at ΕΛΙΔΕΚ and has been an E-learning Seminars Tutor for Culture Webinars since December 2019, specializing in Journalism, Culture, and Folklore. Previous experience includes roles as an Oral History Researcher at Istorima and as a journalist and Press Office Manager at Panteion University. Katerina’s educational background features a Ph.D. candidacy in Folklore Studies and an MSc in Environmental, Disaster, and Crises Management from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, alongside multiple degrees in Journalism and Philology from various institutions.
