Andrew Ngui is a visionary systems builder. As a strategic innovation catalyst, he works synergistically to innovate while engineering radical inclusivity and unity across silos. He spearheads human-centered movements to garden innovation and helps bridge gaps in ecosystems at scale. He works collaboratively with national and regional leaders to build capacity in innovation, entrepreneurship: new venture creation, corporate innovation, and community development to improve economic performance in the Greater Peoria region.
He collaborates directly with entrepreneurs and innovation teams from the ground up to launch experiments, develop systems to catalyze innovation, accelerate impact, and see lives changed. In his current role as Director of the Office of Innovation and Startups at the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council and in Strategic Program Management at Distillery Labs (Peoria’s regional innovation hub), he serves the region’s innovation and entrepreneurship support organizations, and startups to gain traction and scale.
Andrew serves in an advisory capacity for a number of startups, nonprofit boards, as well as regional government and statewide advisory committees on innovation, entrepreneurship, and small business development. He has been a speaker and facilitator at the annual Asian Leadership Conference in Seoul, South Korea since 2018. In 2021, he was nominated to join MIT Technology Review’s Global Insights Panel as well as SXSW Pitch’s Advisory and Judging Panel.
