Jim Goetz

Jim Goetz is a Partner at Sequoia Capital. He has helped create and grow a number of technology companies and product lines to market-leading positions both as an entrepreneur and as an investor. He has led or co-led Sequoia's investments in AdMob (GOOG), Appirio (WIT), Barracuda (CUDA), Clearwell (SYMC), GitHub (MSFT), HubSpot (HUBS), Jive (JIVE), Karma (FB), Okta (OKTA), Palo Alto Networks (PANW), PeakStream (GOOG), Ruckus Wireless (RKUS), Nimble Storage (NMBL) and WhatsApp (FB). He is currently on the board of Carbon, Clari, Dashlane, Intel (INTC), Metaswitch, Observable, Palo Alto Networks (PANW), R2C, Pocket Gems and Versa. Jim has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
