Kara G. Wormwood MHA, BSN, RN, CPN, CCDS is an experienced healthcare consultant currently employed at Claro Healthcare, LLC since December 2019. Prior to this role, Kara served as a Pediatric CDI at Duke University Health System from April 2019 to July 2020 and as a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist at Children's National Health System from September 2017 to April 2019. Kara spent over a decade at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in various roles including Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist and Nurse Team Leader/Nursing Supervisor, beginning in July 2006.
