Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with over a decade of expertise in developing collaborative solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010, focusing on hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Before this role, Chris served as an electronics contractor at the Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting student labs and assessments. Earlier experience includes working as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where circuit design and software development for forestry control systems were key responsibilities. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
