Emily Ranson

Emily Ranson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental advocacy and labor relations. As Chesapeake Regional Director and Maryland State Director at Clean Water Action since January 2017, Emily has developed a strong focus on water issues. Previous roles include Advocacy Coordinator at Bike Maryland from April 2014 to June 2016 and Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, where efforts concentrated on greenhouse gas mitigation through job creation in green industries. Emily's academic background includes a Master of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations with a focus on Community-Based Natural Resources Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations, both from Cornell University.
