Josh Rau

Josh Rau, PE, PMP, currently serves as Owners Engineer at CleanChoice Energy, having transitioned to this role in September 2023. Prior to this, Josh held various positions at Blue Ridge Power, including VP and Director of Project Engineering from July 2021 to September 2023, and at Pine Gate Renewables as Director of Project Engineering and Senior Engineer from May 2019 to July 2021. With extensive experience in engineering and project support for utility-scale photovoltaic systems, Josh has a strong background in managing project design, conducting energy production modeling, and overseeing external engineering resources. Previous roles at Hanwha Q CELLS USA Corp. and JLR Solar Engineering further honed Josh's expertise in project management, design consulting, and quality assurance across multi-megawatt projects. Josh holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Northeastern University.
