Lidia Birukova

Lidia Birukova is a seasoned architectural professional with extensive experience in creative leadership and project management. Currently serving as Partner and Creative Director at sparkSTUDIO since February 2020, Lidia drives the design and construction of multifamily projects in urban settings and collaborates with forward-thinking partners. In addition, Lidia mentors entrepreneurs in the 2022 startup cohort at Cleantech Open. Previous roles include Senior Project Architect/Manager at Gelfand Partners Architects, where public projects such as schools and affordable housing were spearheaded, and Design Director at JRDV Urban International. Lidia founded Builtline, an innovative interior design and branding firm, and has held various positions that emphasize design execution, project management, and client collaboration. Lidia's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Science in International Business Economics and Management from KU Leuven, and a Real Estate Development Certificate from Cornell University.
