Jimmy Lee is a dynamic healthcare visionary with a hunger for continuous healthcare ecosystem improvement. P&L accountability for critical Anthem multi-billion dollar divisions with $35 billion of premium and 17 million members, M&A due diligence on multiple entities, directing thousands of employees with continuous Best in Class Associate Engagement Survey results as well as strategic business development and execution while consistently exceeding goals and expectations. Creative and innovative thinker with wide expertise and results in P&L management, sales, marketing, risk adjustment, underwriting, consumerism, product, actuarial pricing, finance, risk management, strategy, and operations. He has held progressively more accountable Anthem, Inc. positions including President of Consumer Division, Senior Vice President of Commercial Segments, and SVP & GM of UniCare, Inc. Jimmy has led three very significant P&L turnarounds of UniCare and Anthem businesses resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in operating gain improvements. Jimmy led Anthem entering the Exchange Individual & Small Group ACA markets including in depth strategic analysis with subsequent strategic direction, investment priorities and decisions, and complex execution. First year results included largest Individual and Small Group enrollment in the country, largest Individual operating gain in the country of $500 million, and deep knowledge of how to sustain this success with continued growth in membership and operating gain in year two. Built and led the execution of annual business plans for all of Anthem’s Individual, Small Group, mid-size Group, and Large Group / ASO with P&L accountability. Led the Anthem / Cigna integration team building new state business plans, SG&A and revenue synergies, new organizational structure, and new value propositions.
