John Willian

John Willian is a former partner of Goldman Sachs having spent over 28 years in a variety sales, trading and capital markets related roles. Born in the Chicago area, John attended the University of Illinois (BS Engineering) and subsequently joined IBM. He later attended the University of Chicago (MBA) before moving to NY as mortgage securities trader with Goldman. After becoming a partner in 2002, he ran several global businesses including Prime Services and FICC sales. He currently focuses his time on VC related investing with a particular interest in Fintech and Alternative Energy. John is a current board member of KIPP NJ and the Liberty Science Center. He lives in Jackson, Wyoming with his wife Suzanne.
