Geoffrey Charles Henny

Geoffrey Charles Henny has taught and developed a wide range of classes at all levels at Cleary University.

Henny earned a B.A. from the University of California Berkeley with a double major in economics and political science. He obtained an MBA in finance, risk management and insurance from City Business School London University (UK), and did graduate research in development economics and international relations (ABD) from Trinity College Oxford University. His major areas of study and practice include biomedical technology transfer and new models of economic and socio-political development.

In his career, Henny has been a program officer with the U.S. State Department, director of biomedical technology transfer at University of Michigan, senior vice president business development at Triada Expert Systems/AI and a leader in Liquefied Natural Gas projects at Shell International Petroleum Company. He has helped many technology start-ups, and co-founded Sonetics Biomedical Ultrasound, Medical Tricorder Application, and Universal Machine Intelligence Ltd. Currently, he is co-founder of the Ann Arbor Community Commons.
