Gene Berendsen

Gene Berendsen is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in change management and quality assurance within higher education and corporate environments. Currently serving as Project Manager in the Project Management Office at Clemson University, Gene has played a pivotal role in the implementation of the university's iROAR Banner ERP system. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Albany International, where Gene led change management activities during the final phases of the Global "OneAlbany" SAP ERP implementation and served as the Procure to Pay Functional Lead. Gene's career also encompasses various roles in process management, business systems support, and engineering, highlighting proficiency in improving systems and processes across multiple sectors. Gene holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Clemson University and an AAS from Midlands Technical College.
