Richard Morris

Richard Morris currently serves as a Lecturer at Clemson University since August 2024. Prior to this, Richard held multiple senior positions at SpaceX from June 2017 to November 2024, including Senior Advisor for Production and Vice President of Production and Launch, overseeing the production of Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy vehicles and associated engines. Richard also spent over two decades at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC, where roles included Vice President of Product Project Integration, Assembly Vice President, and Assembly Manager, contributing to the integration of new product projects and leading the production of BMW SUVs. Earlier in Richard's career, positions were held at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and General Motors, focusing on quality engineering and manufacturing. Richard holds an MBA in Finance from Clemson University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
