Rachelle Matthys

Rachelle Matthys currently serves as the Cavs Academy Regional Lead Youth Coach and Cavs Academy Youth Coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers since June 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Client Liaison/Sales at CoachMePlus, Lead Coordinator for the Open Court Program at USA Basketball, and Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Canisius College. Rachelle has a strong background in women's basketball, having been the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Medaille College and a professional player for teams such as Wolfenbüttel Wolfpack and Albury Wodonga Bandits. Rachelle's educational qualifications include an MBA from Canisius University, a Master's in Science Education from Durham University, and a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Coaching from the University at Buffalo.
