Derek Dahlin

Derek Dahlin possesses extensive legal and corporate experience, currently serving as the Head of People & Legal at ClickUp, where previous roles included Associate General Counsel and General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. Prior to ClickUp, Derek held the position of General Counsel at Gas it Up Inc. and served in various capacities, including Chief of Staff, Assistant General Counsel, and Director of Business Development at CommSafe AI. In addition, Derek contributed to academia as a Guest Lecturer for the Technology Entrepreneurship Clinic at the University of San Diego School of Law. Early in the career, Derek gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk at Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth. Education includes a Doctor of Law (JD) degree specializing in Business and Corporate Law and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Corporate Finance, both earned from the University of San Diego.
