Jaco Barnard

Jaco Barnard currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Cleveland-Cliffs, a position held since April 2021. Prior to this, Jaco Barnard worked at ArcelorMittal USA from September 2008 to April 2021, where roles included Division Manager - Engineering and Manager - Operating Technology, Finishing & Coating, among others. Jaco Barnard has extensive experience in initiating, implementing, and managing plant maintenance programs, with a strong focus on planning, scheduling, and preventive/predictive maintenance. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Northwest University, Potchefstroom, South Africa, and a Management Advancement Program in Business Administration from the University of the Witwatersrand.
