Clare Waldmann

Clare Waldmann is an experienced environmental professional with a strong focus on climate policy and project management. Currently serving as Head of Projects at Climate Analytics since March 2021, Clare supervises a global portfolio of over 80 active projects in science, policy, and diplomacy across six regional offices. Prior roles include Climate Policy Team Coordinator and Programme Manager for Maritime Issues, along with consulting for GIZ and participation in the Robert Bosch Stiftung fellowship. Clare has a solid background in managing substantial science research grants, developing policy recommendations, and fostering cross-sector collaboration. Educational credentials include a Master's in Environmental Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies and Geography from Middlebury College, and ongoing studies at Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
